Pendahuluan

Ketrampilan mempengaruhi orang lain (lobbying) dan bernegosiasi sangat diperlukan dalam melakukan komunikasi, baik komunikasi internal organisasi maupun teradap pihak-pihak eksternal perusahaan. Ketrampilan tersebut utamanya sangat dibutuhkan oleh personil-personil yang menduduki peringkat atas perusahaan karena berkepentingan terhadap banyak pihak dan berkaitan dengan kepentingan strategis perusahaan. Tujuan utama dari proses lobbying dan negosiasi tersebut yaitu memenangkan suatu kondisi tertentu tanpa membuat pihak mitra negosiasi merasa terkalahkan.
